If anything happens to you while traveling, make sure you have a list of emergency contacts on hand.  If you have food allergies or health conditions, keep this information on you while traveling.

Make copies of your passport, social security card, and identification cards when you’re traveling.

It is important to know the laws in the place you’re visiting.  Show respect for the place you are visiting by becoming familiar with the culture.

Make sure you have specific suitcase items that can help you adjust to changing weather or other vacation conditions.

Always carry at least one backup card with you in case of an emergency.
